Dr. Jain is a thought leader in the field of Health systems, Health Finance and Health Insurance from the past 17 years with demonstrated expertise working across countries. He worked with GIZ for more than 15 years where he headed a bilateral cooperation program, for strengthening health systems, health financing and health insurance through support to Government of India and various State Governments. He advised the Government of India on design and implementation of PM-JAY and also led the technical team for design and implementation of the earlier national health insurance scheme called Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY).
He received his PhD in Health Finance from IIM Ahmedabad.
